MSU Extension

Leena Abouzahr serves as a Michigan State University Extension Early Childhood Health educator in Washtenaw County. She holds a Master of Public Health with a focus on health promotion and community development from the American University of Beirut. With experience in health promotion and in educating youth in four different countries, Leena now works under a SNAP-Ed grant to enable the health of young children through schools, daycares, other local entities, and statewide community nutrition instructors. She is committed to empowering both children and adults to live fuller, healthier lives.
