Lindsey Wondra
Lindsey is a Community Nutrition Instructor at Michigan State University Extension. She has worked in this capacity since September 2022.
In this role Lindsey has been working with people of all ages and in a wide range of settings. She has thoroughly enjoyed working with all of her partners in Wayne County, but her favorite part of her job has been teaching groups and getting to known the participants of each class.
Prior to joining MSU Extension Lindsey worked with older adults and individuals with a wide range of physical or mental disabilities to provide home care. She was also an intern for the Milwaukee Christian Center where she focused of making recipes to highlight ingredients in their weekly food distribution boxes.
Lindsey holds a bachelor’s degree from Mount Mary University, in Milwaukee Wisconsin. She majored in Health and Nutrition Promotion which entailed her taking classes that focused on Nutrition, Food Science, and Communications.
