Lisa Woodke is the Sustainability Director at Star of the West Milling Company, where she works with both farmers and food companies to share the story of sustainability. She also leads the $4.9 million USDA Climate-Smart grant which focuses on four food grade crops in Michigan over the next five years. In addition to sustainability, she also has experience on the sales side of agriculture, selling both on-farm and through ag retailers with products offerings including seed, chemistry and nitrogen stabilizers. Lisa received her Bachelor’s of Science from Michigan State University in AgriBusiness Management, and is certified through the National Certified Crop Advisor program with an additional Sustainability Specialization endorsement.
