Marilynn Ellenberger
Marilynn Ellenberger is a Community Nutrition Instructor at Michigan State University Extension. She has worked with the organization since October of 2022. She covers Cheboygan and Presque Isle Counties. As a Community Nutrition Instructor, Marilynn works with local schools and community organizations to offer programs focused on nutrition and physical activity.
Before joining MSU Extension, Marilynn worked as a Professional Development Coordinator/Quality Improvement Coach for Great Start to Quality. She has extensive programming experience and has held a wide range of positions including Preschool Associate Teacher, Life Enrichment Director, and Activities/Program Director.
Marilynn has a B.S. in Therapeutic Recreation from Grand Valley State University with a minor in Physical Education. She is a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS), holds a Child Development Associate (CDA) Certificate, and is CPR/AED/First Aid Instructor.
Marilynn is a lifelong resident of Northern Michigan and looks forward to working with her community.
