Dr. Moser jointed the Department of Agriculture, Food and Resource Economics in 1971. She is appointed in the tenure system.

- Labor economics and labor relations; wage determination; occupational education; labor laws; unions, collective bargaining; discrimination; poverty; public employment; and occupational segregation
- Employment and training programs and policies; public employment; expansion of jobs in Michigan; rural employment and training issues; social security and welfare programs; women’s centers and displaced homemakers; comparable worth
- Rural economic development especially in terms of Michigan; off-farm employment of farmers
