Razieh Yazdani Fazlabadi
Razieh's research focuses on developing sustainable management strategies for plant-parasitic nematodes, with a specific emphasis on soybean cyst nematode.
Her research program is driven by two primary objectives: evaluating the efficacy of diverse sustainable management techniques for nematode control and investigating the complex interactions between plants and nematodes to identify critical stages in the nematode life cycle for targeted intervention. Additionally, Razieh contributes to an international project (CETCIL)targeting the identification and management of plant-parasitic nematodes in tuber crops, rice, and bananas in Kenya. She also mentors students in the CETCIL project, guiding them through weekly meetings to help foster the next generation of researchers in the field.
