4-H Service Log

In this log, a silhouette character named "Joe" guides and encourages 4-H'ers through recording each step of the 40 hours of community service-learning work that it takes to earn a Michigan 4-H award pin for community service. Along the way, 4-H'ers learn about the five steps of community service: assessing community needs, planning your project, doing the service, reflecting on what you did and celebrating! The final page of the log book is an evaluation form that 4‑H'ers complete and submit to their county 4-H staff to certify that they have completed the work necessary to earn the community service pin.
