Description

Students learn about the factors influencing consumer choices and their implications for health, the environment, and the economy. This core idea addresses food safety, nutritional information, and the environmental impacts of agricultural practices. It emphasizes the role of consumers in promoting sustainability and making informed decisions about food products. Students also explore ethical considerations, such as animal welfare and fair-trade practices, and learn how consumer behavior can drive positive changes in food systems and natural resource management.
