Scanning the Breadth of Michigan State University Food Systems Research and Outreach
December 8, 2016 Rich Pirog
Keeping current with the breadth of food systems work at MSU can be a challenge because there is so much happening! To make getting up-to-date easier and more engaging, the MSU Center for Regional Food Systems, College of Agriculture and Natural Resources, Extension, and AgBioResearch hosted a special one-morning snapshot session on December 1, 2016.
This event provided research and outreach highlights that span the broad range of expertise that MSU is bringing to food systems work. The goal is to increase awareness of food systems work at MSU, spark ideas, and catalyze university-community conversations on the direction and scope of new food systems research and outreach.
In the following, you can watch eleven Spartans present ten-minute snapshots of their current research, outreach, and ideas for collaboration in a mini "TED talk" type format.
