Competency A1. Summarize and apply the importance of health & safety standards in AFNR organizations and systems.
Competency C4. Develop and implement a plant management plan for crop and pest management.
Competency D5. Examine and explain environmental hazards to promote safety.
 

Description

Safety procedures are written methods outlining how to perform a task with minimum risk to people, equipment, materials, environment, and processes. These procedures should be developed as a result of completing a Hazard Assessment and closely reflect the activities most common in the work environment.
