Dunbar Red Pine Harvest Video
MSU FBIC crew showcases the 2019 Dunbar harvest that occurred near Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. Harvesting is the first step in the process of providing telephone poles, saw timber, and pulp into the regional market. It is also the first step in regenerating the stand. These harvested areas will be evaluated for natural regeneration and replanted if needed.
