    2026 4-H Winterfest

    February 7, 2026 – February 8, 2026 Eagle Village, Hersey

    4-H Winterfest is a hand on learning camp for youth 8 to 12 year olds. Youth get to pick workshops and participate in team building activities at Eagle Village Retreat Center in Hersey, Michigan. Come and have fun this winter with 4-H Winterfest!!

    The 2026 4-H Spring Livestock Workshop is a one-day workshop on MSU's campus designed for teens and adult volunteers in beef, sheep, swine, and goat projects.

    Michigan 4-H Day with the Detroit Tigers

    May 3, 2026 1:40PM – 5:00PM First pitch at 1:40 p.m. Comerica Park, Detroit

    Join Michigan 4-H and MSU Extension at Comerica Park to watch the Detroit Tigers take on the Texas Rangers! Michigan 4-H will be the Group Charity of the Game and the 4-H community can purchase discounted tickets with a portion benefitting 4-H.

    The World Food Prize Michigan Youth Institute is a one-day event where students in grades 7-12 present research and recommendations on how to address critical global challenges.

    The 4-H and FFA Meats Judging State Contest gives youth an opportunity to demonstrate their ability to evaluate carcasses and identify meats.

    July 1, 2026 Farm Bureau Pavilion at Michigan State University

    In the livestock judging contest, participants can demonstrate their livestock evaluation and selection skills, as well as improve their communication and decision-making skills.

    4-H Animal and Veterinary Science Camp 2026

    July 6, 2026 – July 9, 2026 Anthony Hall

    The Michigan 4-H Animal and Veterinary Science Camp is a pre-college program held at Michigan State University (MSU) through which youth will explore fields relating to animal science and veterinary medicine.
