Welcome
Established in 2018, Michigan State University’s Corey Marsh Ecological Research Center (CMERC) is a center for scientific research in natural resource restoration and management. The center has 3 core, interdependent purposes: research, education, and engagement. Ecological research is conducted by highly integrated and interactive teams, and is the foundation for engaging our community in scientific discovery. These research and outreach activities serve as a platform for training students in field-based research, science communication, and engagement. With community engagement as an important part of our vision, we maintain trails that are open for the public to enjoy the incredible diversity of flora and fauna and the peace that Corey Marsh has to offer.
