Kris DeAngelo is the new Associate Director of IFLR which offers online certificates in US Food Law and International Food Law for graduate students. She is also an attorney holding a JD Magna Cum Laude from MSU College of Law and a Master’s in Global Food Law from MSU. She is a seasoned educator with 30+ years of teaching experience, from high school science to graduate food law. In addition to being the Associate Director, Ms. DeAngelo teaches classes for both FSHN and the College of Law, where she is an adjunct professor. She has authored 2 textbooks, which are forthcoming. She is also working on developing the new master’s in Food Regulatory Affairs program.

Last year, she applied for a Catalyst grant to add online learning features to D2L. The pilot is currently open for participants and this seminar will show participants some of the new interactive student learning tools that are available. These include easy to create flashcards, interactive online textbooks, interactive videos with questions and learning paths, “chose your own adventure” activities, and more! H5P turns the “sit and get” D2L into a robust learning experience.
