Gaining Access to PEARS Events

Existing PEARS Users

To gain access to the Community Events feature in PEARS, please follow these steps:

  1. Self-enroll in PEARS Events D2L course to access training materials for PEARS Events.
  2. Register for and attend an Introduction to PEARS Events virtual training. Review the training schedule to register for a training.
  3. Once you have registered for an introduction training, you will be provided access to PEARS Events. If you fail to attend an Introduction to PEARS Events training after gaining access to the PEARS Events feature, your access may be revoked until you complete the required introduction training.

New PEARS Users

If you do not have a PEARS account, please review how to have an account created or reach out to Norma Lundeen. New users must complete Human Research Protection Program (HRPP) Institutional Review Board (IRB) training and read MSU's Institutional Data Policy before an account can be created. Once an account is created, please follow the steps above.
