Awards & Recognition
Recognizing 4-H Youth Accomplishment
Michigan State University Extension and Michigan 4-H are committed to recognizing the hard work, dedication, and achievements of our 4-H Youth. A Manistee 4-H member is eligible for annual awards in Project Work, Leadership, Citizenship, and/or Achievement. The member may only win once in any given category/project in their 4-H career. Nominations are reviewed by the Manistee 4-H Advisory Council and Club Leaders will be contacted to verify that members nominated have completed the work described and in a manner that is deserving of the award.
Any registered 4-H Leader, Member, Council, and/or Committee member in the county may nominate any member, regardless of Club, for these four categories.
Nominations must be received by the Manistee County MSU Extension Office by August 31 of the current 4-H Year (Sept. 1-Aug. 31).
