Dissertations Defended
- Md Nurul Amin successfully defended his Ph.D. at Washington State University
- Shimul Das successfully completed his preliminary exam at Washington State University
- Bettie Kawonga successfully defended her Ph.D. dissertation at the University of Kentucky
- Edward Martey successfully defended his Ph.D. dissertation at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign
- Eric Owusu Danquah successfully finished his comprehensive exam at Michigan State University
- Mohammad Mahfuzur Rahman passes his preliminary oral exam at Washington State University
- Cheryl Williams successfully defended her dissertation in "Agricultural Communications and Education" at Texas Tech University

- Matias Culpa led a keynote presentation at FIOCRUZ on the health system of Mozambique
