MSU AgBioResearch, Extension to host research center field days this summer
The public is invited to learn about research and programming that impact Michigan food and natural resources
EAST LANSING, Mich. — This summer, Michigan State University Extension and MSU AgBioResearch will be hosting field days at research centers around the state and on the MSU campus.
The events are open to the public and will feature topics of interest for growers, producers, industry professionals and anyone interested in learning the latest on MSU-led research and outreach related to critical topics concerning Michigan’s food and environment.
Topics include forest and natural resource management, forage, tillage, potatoes, turfgrass, wheat, wine grapes, among others.
Those interested in attending should contact the respective research center for additional details. Further information will be added to the research center websites as it becomes available.
- Aug. 23: Bean and Beet Field Day from 9 a.m to 1 p.m. at the Saginaw Valley Research and Extension Center located at 3775 S. Reese Road in Frankenmuth.
- Sept. 6: Blueberry field day at the Trevor Nichols Research Center. The center is located at 6237 124th Ave. in Fennville.
- Sept. 15: KBS Cropping Systems Field Day at Kellogg Biological Station. MSU researchers present research findings and outreach programs related to cropping systems research at the station. Register.
