Lightspeed
Lightspeed (previously called VEND) is the cloud-based cash register system used at MSU Extension. There are two parts to the training for this:
- Required annual compliance training from MSU relating to eCommerce (sometimes called PCI Training).
- Training on how to use the software itself.
Lightspeed Training for New Staff
- Supervisors or support staff indicate on the Computer Access Form that a new staff person needs Lightspeed access.
- The MSU Extension Lightspeed admin (MSUE.vend@msu.edu) sends a request to cashier's office indicating what training they need. New staff will receive an email from noreply@em.training.campusguard.com with details on accessing training.
- The new user successfully completes 100% of the training video.
- The MSU Extension Lightspeed admin grants access to the new staff person.
Lightspeed Training Annual Renewal
You will need to renew your PCI training annually. The campus guard system will send you reminders to update training yearly. The email will come from noreply@em.training.campusguard.com
