My academic interests focus on fatty acid metabolism in dairy cattle, particularly through its effects on rumen biohydrogenation, post-absorptive metabolism, and energy allocation. With a goal of better understanding how specific lipid classes direct nutrients toward milk synthesis, and overall physiological function.
