Cristin Hosmer
Cristin Hosmer is the program coordinator for the Northwestern Community College in Traverse City, Michigan, and the Michigan State University Institute of Agricultural Technology.
Hosmer has an extensive background in value-added agriculture, grape growing, entrepreneurship, land use, and pollinator habitat. She has been a trusted advisor and instructor for IAT for nearly a decade.
Hosmer has her pulse on current issues at the local, state and national levels, including sustainable agriculture, new technologies and trends in the job market. She brings with her a passion for supporting students and future farmers in their educational and career goals. She is excited to join the NMC Hawk Owl Plant Science team and, as an ’03 & ’09 Spartan grad, she is glad to be on her home team in Agriculture, Food, and Resource Economics.
