Background:

Megan is a master’s student in Michigan State University’s Cooperative Fish and Wildlife Research Unit, co-advised by Mike Booth and Dana Infante. Her research broadly examines how water withdrawals influence stream flows and fish communities in Michigan rivers. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Wildlife and Fisheries Biology from Clemson University in 2021. After graduating, she worked as a fisheries technician with state and federal agencies across the United States, including the Idaho Department of Fish and Game, National Park Service, and South Carolina Department of Natural Resources, where she gained extensive field experience in fish population monitoring and native trout conservation across a variety of stream and reservoir systems.
