Molly Engelman

B.S. Fisheries and Wildlife, Michigan State University, 2023
Background:
Molly graduated from the Fisheries and Wildlife Department in 2023 with a concentration in Water Sciences. As an undergraduate, she conducted mosquito-borne disease research in southwestern Michigan, monitored Piping Plovers along the Missouri River, and surveyed aquatic macrophytes in northern Michigan. She also served as a ULA for BS161 and was President of the Fisheries and Wildlife Club for two years.
After graduation, Molly led a Lotic AIM survey crew in Las Vegas with the University of Montana and later worked as an Environmental Scientist – Water Quality for the Sault Tribe in Sault Ste. Marie, MI. She is now returning to MSU as a Research Assistant I to support aquatic macrophyte research with Dr. Jeremy Hartsock, Dr. Jo Latimore, Dr. Dan Hayes, and Erick Elgin.
