Sunni Haglund
Sunni Haglund is a Michigan State University Extension 4-H Program Coordinator located in Montcalm County. She has served in this role since January of 2023.
In her role as 4-H program coordinator, Sunni provides leadership and management of local 4-H programs, volunteers, and youth participants in Montcalm County. She promotes and strengthens the Montcalm County 4-H program by developing programs and partnerships, promoting and evaluating 4-H programs, and recruiting and training volunteers. Sunni is also the liaison from the state Michigan 4-H office by helping to ensure that statewide opportunities and information is available to local participants.
Sunni is a former 4-H member and volunteer, with 4 years as the Montcalm County Poultry Superintendent. She has always been an active member of her community and continues to volunteer with multiple organizations. A few of which are her local VFW, American Legion, K-9 Camo Companions, National Guard Association of Michigan and her 4-H club. Prior to coming to extension, she was active duty in the Army for over 20 years as a Senior Logistical Non-Commissioned Officer.
Sunni enjoys spending time with her family and friends, gardening, kayaking, hiking, exploring and hanging out with her dogs and goats.
