Yue Cui

Yue Cui has been working on estimating the regional economic impacts of recreation and tourism since 2007. Cui conducted various economic impacts studies for the National Marine Manufacture Associations, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the National Park Service. She is also a geographer working on designing Volunteered Geographic Information System for spatial-related survey instrument, placemaking tool, and recreation resource and inventory management tools. Cui holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from HuaZhong University of Science and Technology, China; a Master’s degree in Information Economics from the Capital University of Economics and Business, China; a PhD in Geography from Peking University, China; and a PhD from the Department of Community, Agriculture, Recreation and Resource Studies at Michigan State University.
