About the Scholarship

The Michigan State Fair 4-H & Youth Virtual Showcase Scholarship is: 

  • Provided by the Michigan State Fair Foundation 
  • Supported by the Bowman Family 

Funds may be used toward: 

  • Two- or four-year colleges/universities 
  • Trade schools 
  • Certifications or credential programs 
  • Apprenticeships 
  • Other post-secondary education pathways that help youth be Beyond Ready for their future 

Funds are distributed through the Michigan 4-H Foundation. 

Recognition is received through a ceremony during the face-to-face Michigan State Fair Awards Ceremony and details will be shared via e-mail to scholarship recipients.  

Additional Information 

Criteria for all Michigan State Fair scholarships, including for the 4-H and Youth Virtual Showcase, can be found on the Michigan State Fair website.  Recipients may receive this scholarship more than once and past recipients are eligible to apply.
