MSU Extension 4-H Exploration Days

2023 4-H Exploration Days Check-out Process

1. On Thursday, from 2pm-10pm, please pick up your check-out packet with directions from the 4-H Exploration Days Residence Hall Information Center (E179- east-side of Holmes).
2. During Thursday Evening County Huddle, remind everyone in the delegation of the process your group will be using for checkout. Your county might have a specific process, timeline or additional details, however, all participants (youth and adult) must:
           a. Place towels, sheets and pillowcases into the laundry bins by the elevators on the floors.  The blankets stay in the room.
           b. Turn in their Key and Conference Card to Lead Chaperone prior to leaving Exploration Days. The conference card is required to eat lunch in the cafeteria and to get back onto the floor if belongings are being stored there.
3. Share the evaluation for the event with all youth participants: 
   a. They can complete a paper copy that is in this packet

4. Return all paper evaluation forms to Residence Hall Information Center (E179) prior to leaving or return to local staff who can mail them to the Exploration Days team.

5. Complete the check-out form in the folder to check off the return of keys and conference cards. If a key or conference card is lost or missing, please note that on the form. Place all items in the envelope and return to the Residence Hall Information Center (E179) prior to leaving campus. The Residence Hall Point of Contact will do a quick check to see if the number of keys and conference cards matches.  

6. Please remember you cannot leave campus until all youth from your delegation have left campus with their designated ride.
