Local 4-H Camps
Cloverbud Day Camps - Multiple dates throughout the year
What’s It All About?
Day camps for Cloverbuds (ages 5-7) in the local counties can attend camps through out the year. Camps are not repeated annually and will be available at different times throughout the year. They can occur on weekends, when local schools schedule to have half-days or no school, and times throughout the summer. These are fun ways for young kids to learn, play, and interact with each other.
Camps for 4-H Members Ages 8+
In previous years, local counties would come together to host a 4-H Camp at Camp Neyati. In recent years, there has collectively not been a demand for this camp for volunteers and teens to organize these events.
4-H Volunteers and teen 4-H members are welcome at anytime to form a 4-H Camp Committee to organize such events. To do so, contact the 4-H Program Coordinator to connect you with others who share this interest.

Statewide 4-H and MSU Extension Camps
4-H Animal & Veterinary Science Camp
What’s It All About?
This four-day pre-college program held at Michigan State University is a partnership with the Michigan 4-H Youth Development, MSU Department of Animal Science, and MSU College of Veterinary Medicine. Youth will explore fields relating to animal and veterinary medicine as well as participate in numerous hands-on learning activities. Participants will also gain animal handling experience while having the opportunity to visit and explore MSU farms and facilities. Throughout the week, teens will work their way through a veterinary science case study as a team and create a presentation to be critiqued by veterinarians. This is a fun and interactive camp that will allow youth to conduct activities, ask questions, and problem-solve.

Tollgate Farms Camps - Multiple camps throughout the year
What’s It All About?
Camp at MSU Tollgate Farm is a fun and enriching opportunity to experience the natural world hands-on. With 160 acres of beautiful farm and forest to explore, our camps offer the best in farm and food, discovery science, and natural resource exploration. Campers not only learn about the natural world around them, but how to interact with it sustainably. We place significant value in the experiential model of "Do, Reflect, Apply", allowing campers to take the experience and relate it back to concepts learned in the classroom. In doing so, young people are empowered to be in charge of their own learning, instilling a passion for self-directed, life-long exploration.
