Online Course Information

The online course is one of the major components to the Michigan Naturalist Program. The course is stored in MSU's online learning environment, Desire 2 Learn (D2L), and comprised of several units that end with short assignments and open book knowledge checks. These units will prepare the participant for the in-person sessions where speakers and facilitators will reinforce and expand upon the online lessons.

Participants are expected to supply a smart phone, tablet, or computer with reliable internet access and speakers to complete this portion of the program. 

How to Create a MSU Guest Account

To access the D2L course, participants will need to have an MSU Guest Account. Once paid and registered, please follow the Technology at MSU - MSU Guest Account registration instructions. Note: There are two parts to the MSU Guest Account registration process.
