Ada Varga is an M.S. student in Dr. Rufus Isaacs’ lab at Michigan State University. She earned a B.S. in environmental biology and plant biology with a minor in entomology from MSU. Her research focuses on managing insect populations in agroecosystems using integrated pest management (IPM) techniques. Varga’s current project investigates the parasitoid wasp Leptopilina japonica as a biological control agent for the spotted-wing drosophila.
