Alexus Bobak is a first-year doctoral student in Dr. Anthony Cognato’s lab. After earning a bachelor’s degree in ecology, conservation, and environmental biology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, she spent three years working as an environmental lab technician and later as a USDA APHIS technician. Her current research focuses on the systematics of ambrosia beetles and their symbiotic fungi.
