Biography
Laboratory Technologist in charge of the day-to-day running and management of the Water Quality Laboratory in the Department of Biosystems & Agricultural Engineering, Michigan State University. Major duties entail helping in agricultural drainage and environmental research work by analyzing water, soil, and environmental samples using the Thermo Scientific Gallery Discrete Analyzer. Laboratory management duties also involve instrument maintenance and troubleshooting, quality assurance and quality control practices, sampling and sample preparation, laboratory supply purchase, methodology development, students' training, and laboratory operations. Research efforts are currently geared towards nutrient transport, water quality, and agricultural conservation studies in Michigan.
