Background and Research Interests

Sama Eltaher Thabit is a second-year doctoral student in Food Science. Her research applies metagenomic, metabolomic, and whole-genome sequencing approaches to study lactic acid bacterial communities in the food microbiome and develop microbial consortia with beneficial fermentation properties.
