Background and Research Interests
Veronica earned her B.S. in Biomedical and Molecular Nutrition with a minor in Health Promotion from Michigan State University in May 2023. She began her PhD program in August 2023, focusing on the intersection of sustainable agriculture practices, diet, and human health. Veronica is being trained in both qualitative research and gut microbiome analysis, employing mixed methods to explore these relationships.
