9:30am- Check-in, light refreshments, pick up resources from MSU Extension
10am- Erik Runkle, PhD, Michigan State University, “What’s new at MSU?” A research update and information about the new greenhouses on campus
11am- Trisha Chopp, Account Manager at Consumers Energy, “Consumers Energy Business Energy Efficiency Program” Discussion of incentives available for greenhouse businesses
Noon- Lunch + Lunchtime Activity “Social Media Hits & Misses” Small Group Discussion
1:00pm- MDFGA member meeting
1:15pm- Jared Rodriguez, Mainstreet Legislative Counseling Services & MGGC, "Greenhouse GAAMPs and Legislative Update" Important issues for the coming season
2:15pm- Caitlin Splawski, “Highlights from the Michigan Garden Plant Tour” Overview of interesting new varieties from the 2026 trial sites
