Adolescents and Kids
“Enjoy Play, Every Day!”
Kids need to get up and move! Physical activity is very important for the growth and development of children and adolescents. Free play, organized sports and doing chores around the house help to make kids happy and healthy.
For kids ages 6-17, the Physical Activity Guidelines for Americans recommend 60 or more minutes a day of physical activity.
Benefits:
- Healthy growth and development
- Strong bones and muscles
- Building social skills and teamwork
