View all Strength Training Basics VideosTo perform a lat pull down, typically this exercise is done on a stationary machine. Alternatively, you can use an exercise band as shown here. With an overhand grip, pull the weight down to your sides, keeping your chest up and your elbows back. Returning slowly to the top, making sure that our elbows are staying behind us and our chest is up during the movement.
